Injectors

I wish to put bigger injectors in my car; (vs gts). Has anyone done this, any idea if the best brand and injector size

sc v6 injectors flow very well, also magna ones but i cant remember the specifics of the magna ones though :( someone else might know of them

hmm actually i dont think the sc6 ones will fit straight in pretty sure they are a bit longer than the standard ones not sure though :oops:

i know where you will get some from. have a talk to CAPA about it. www.capa.com.au they'll have prices and everything there. they're a huge company and seem to know what they're doing. i sent an email to them and got a reply in the same day, now thats business :D

Being a VS GTS, you'll have Bosch 775's on there (Blue tops).

Magna injectors are similar to Group A injectors which are Brown. They both flow around the same, so no point going with them. S/C V6 injectors are quite good and will slot straight in. Stock V6 and V8 injectors are the same. Otherwise, look for Bosch Red Tops.

What have you done to the GTS that warrants an injector change? My 355 runs these injectors and they're fine. Darren Parker also runs these in his 10 second VP SS which makes over 500rwhp, so they are a very capable injector. Maybe they just need a clean if they're too high in their duty cycle.

Also factor in the cost of a retune when changing injectors as it will run a heap richer.
