Climate control

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a climate control system to a car with standard aircon. I would love to have it in my car if there was a way to hook it up.

I have a feeling yes ask a Holden wrecker they should have a complete used unit saves you chasing down all the bits.

Can be done, but there's a lot of sensors and bits you have to buy. Not quite as simple as removing the mechanical unit and replacing it with an electronic one....

I kind of figured that, I just wanted to know if the aircon setup was different.

If its in a VT onwards car it is very hard. The climate control is wired up to the BCM. The cars with climate control actually use a different BCM to exec, s and ss model cars.

Also remember that the BCM comunicates with the PCM so you cant just go changing them over. They need to be allingned.

Not worth the hassels.
