nice car man real top shelf do u mind telling me how much all up with mods ?

that's exactly how the car was when i bought it about 2months ago now. i paid 19k for it and its immaculate.

bought the car off our local mechanic and he originally had it for sale at about $23,000 but couldnt sell it. he kept dropping the price and dropped it down the 20k. i said i wanted to buy it so he said because he knows me he'll drop another grand off it ;)

ok, so the cars done 220,000kms and theres a couple little things that are starting to go with ago, but engine wise, its in beautiful condition and theres nothing wrong with it. have the odd problem starting it but thats generally the same throughout all 5lt.

hes bought himself a WH statesman international recently, and has lowered it, put a set of ROH drft-R's on it, twin 2.5" exhaust with a custom rear bar so he has twin outlets, one either side with 2 X 5" oval tips :)
looks nuts as and down the track hes going ta stick a blower on the genIII. should go hard.

If you're looking to save money, keep looking around to buy one thats already modded. You never get back what you spend on a car. There's receipts for about $25-30K worth of work on my car but there's no way its valued at that. But if you like doing things yourself and seeing your project grow, by all means by a stocker and do it up.

My mod list consists of:
355 Stroker - Ported/polished heads, all running gear changed, 355 crank, forged pistons, Perkin's racing cam.
Shift kitted auto with 2500 stall convertor
King's Superlow springs with Koni externally adjustable shocks, k-mac camber/castor kit.
DBA slotted rotors all round (343mm with stock corvette C4 calipers)
Stereo: Kicker compVR 15"s x 3, MTX1000D, Dynaudio System 360's in custom pods, PG zxti400's x 2, Nakamichi 45z.

VP Commodore stock standard.

I only just bought it a few months ago and up until last month when I lost my license for reasons I choose not to discuss and told I can't even go for my L's again until I turn 21, I was going to put a 5ltr and new running gear in it, but now I'll probably just sell it and buy a car in 4 years when I'm 21. If I don't sell it though, my first mod is going to be a push-button engine starter :D, then rims.
