can someone give me a rough cost of the following mods i'd like to do to my car over the next 4 or so years???

-HSV pedals (from JHP) - $185
-HSV brakes
-5" tacho
-18" HSV GTO wheels
-Personal plates, (STELTH)
-Stage II shift kit
-Large mesh insert in the front kit (in between the fog lights, the same sort as the FPV vehicles)
-VX Calais rear lights
-Monaro front lights
-Air bags (i only want some that i can change the cars ride height for different driving conditions)
-Full rebuild, with crow cams etc. (its done about 220,00kms)
-and down the track, perhaps a small blower, maybe 7psi, non-intercooled

thanks guys.

I would start at the 10,000 mark and up Airbag suspension hmmm Legal I dont think so.... Blower will set you back around the 5000, 6000 mark I would think. I would personally keep the plates hush hush...
How do insurance companys react to after market blowers??? Im sure not many insurance companys would like to insure such a vehicle..
Good luck with the mods

airbags are NOT illegal yet, they are trying to make them illegal but as of now they are not illegal.. & Iam pretty shore that if you get the mdone b4 they make it illegal your safe! thats the word Iam hearing at the moment!

as far as i know, airbags are illegal in WA. about other states, im not sure, but they are legal in victoria, and nsw. pricewise- be looking at well over 15k for airbags and a blower. this wont include insurance, or any engineering/police certification needed. id be looking at ~20k over 4 years for it.

thanks guys.

na, airbags are legal throughout australia. everyone says that they're illigal in qld and WA but according to street commodores magazine they're not, just harder to make legalised.

get a copy of err about issue 89 or 90 on street commodores and read about it.

i could scan it in if anyone was interested.

why do they want them illigal anyway? how many accidents have been caused because a car has been too low?
