i went to VicRoads today to transfer my personalised number plates to my newcar, and they said that the car hasnt been transfered into my name yet! its been 1 1/2 weeks since if picked it up! they reakon it could be upto another 2 weeks!

Yeah, they're always a little bit slow. Usually takes up to 4 weeks... Wait until you get a receipt in the mail, then go back in.
