VX v VY

what are everyones thoughts on VX v VY?
pros and cons of both
also has anyone had any trouble with buying from a government auction,
x cop cars etc.

the VX is by far a better looking car in my opinion.
the VY is reputed to be a better daily driver, according to my uncle, who has had VT-VY SS Commodores.
unfortunately WA police dont get SS Commodores, just pursuit pack 6s.

when we bought our VT berlina about 3-4yrs a go, the dealer went to the auctions in melb and picked it up. found out it was john forest's old car and didnt have nay trouble with it. ;)

I have a VX Calais, very nice car, we are very happy
I have a VY Maloo, i can't fault, like it better that the VU model, shape, interior , etc.
