View Full Version : victims of a v8
hey guys i,m new here i drive a holden 2001 vx2 SS and i,m chinese hahaha!
Reason i bought SS is that my best also had one and i was amazed of power it had, so i sold my wrx for a SS. Why? i pay to much for insurance its insurance is double compare to an SS. And its a box compare to SS, i tend to pick up more in a SS too!
Victims of a v8 theres are the follow cars of have beaten at the red light
Integra typeR
r33 GTS
180sx
Mr2
fordS!!!! hahaahaha xr8 heavy mofos
prelude
And the ones ive lost to are
evos

what up! I'm also chinese and I reckon it's mad seeing ford's getting their ass's whooped in a straght line by Holden's and HSV's. Keep trying and you'll be amazed at what other Jap imports and grey imports you can beat. (But all wheel drive does have an advantage over rear wheel drive)

I have a LS2.
I only used 2 gears in the following experiences. Only the supra I had to shift to 3rd because it was so close.
Win
skyline gtst with exhaust mods(easy after end of 1st)
wrx old shape(easy)
VTSS modded
VX SS ute
others not worth mentioning.
Lost
MERC either AMG S55 or C55. Had full car and he did not have passengers. Beat him to 90km/h then reeled me in and kept going.
Supra twin turbo modded. Beat me by half car length.

Exelent going there guys good to see a big aussie car opening up a can of whip ass on all and sundry! I havnt had many people take me on yet in my VYII SS wagon, its got 227kw at the tyres and the only race I have had was against a 300zx turbo that sounded pretty hot with big exhaust and blow offs etc. It was all to no avail for him though, the wagon flogged the 300zx, by the end of 2nd I was two car lengths out and kept leaving him in third if only the speed limit was not so low it would have been good to see how he went with the wagon in third but I value my lisence.

Here's another one for you, it happened last night on my way home from cricket. One of the boys have a 2003 WRX sedan. Its got the usual mods, blow off valve, big exhaust (not headers though) blitz air filter and cai and a larger top mount intercooler. It sounds good and everyone recons it goes hard. On the way home he slowed down just after going round a round a bout and I knew it was on. I knocked the SS back to first and as I pulled along side of him he booted it so I floored it too and the wagon smoked the tyres through first and into second, as soon as I had traction in second the SS just pulled away from the rex and when I hit third I already had three quaters of a car length on him, a quick squirt in third and I was in front enough to change lanes in front of him and turn left. He was going the same direction as me so we drove for another couple of minits till we stopped at the traffic lights to turn right onto the highway. I was in front. When the lights went green I just eased away from the lights and short shifted into second, as I moved into the left lane he accelerated up beside me and the wagon was just hitting about 2500 rpm when he pulled along side (he was flogging it). I gassed it as he went passed and he didnt even get his nose infront, the wagon just punched straight to six grand where I shifted into third with a good chirp from the tyres and I just left him standing. by the time I hit about 130kph I was about two to three car lenghts ahead. The rex is quick though and I recon from a true standing start he may have the measure of the SS in first gear but I think the SS would still be in front by third.
Keep it up fellas!

2:350Z,hit it from the lights the torque of the GTS pulled a couple of lengths, then he started pulling up he hit 2nd and i kept pulling then once i was in 2nd the GTS kept him at bay 8)

I live near a suburb called Kingsford in Sydney and there is a large number of Asians, predoninantly Chinese and they ALL drive Honda Civic's,toyota corolla's and other little crappy 4 bangers riced up to the eye balls.
So no not just the Japanese that love the rice.
Hope nobody took my post in a derogatory way

Yeah more asians should drive the big v8's. More of them will slowly migrate to the v8's soon once they realize that all the outdated jap cars they drive won't keep up with the late model aussie makes easily. But then again, generally speaking most asians are small and don't need the space.
As for me I love the practicality of these cars. I'm not chinese but vietnamese. I guess all these rice burners who see my car on the road will be surprised to see that I'm not a bogan.

here ya go.....i found dis headline dat topped da site....dat in parts of china, there has been shortages
have a read
Rationing has been imposed on petrol and diesel in Guangzhou, which is suffering a shortage.
Taxi drivers wait outside a gas station in Guangzhou yesterday to get fuel. [Net]
The capital of South China's Guangdong Province has a reported monthly shortfall of about 50,000 tons of refined oil, Xie Zhaowei, secretary of Guangzhou Petrol Industry Association, said yesterday.
Xie added that the shortage has begun to affect people's lives.
Several other cities in the Pearl River Delta region, one of the nation's most dynamic economic powerhouses, have begun suffering from short supply. Dongguan is reported to need 10,000 additional tons each month.
But in Shanghai, the situation is not so grave.
"Our supply of refined oil can meet the demand in Shanghai," said a spokesman from the East China Marketing Department of the China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation. He would not elaborate regarding the available supply.
Skyrocketing prices of crude have produced a shortage in China, and now domestic refineries are reluctant to increase business, Han Xuegong, senior analyst for China National Petroleum Corp, said on the sidelines of a petrochemical industry summit yesterday.
Other problems, Han said, include China's large consumption of energy, a result of its fast-growing economy, and the rising demand for refined oil from the domestic market.
to make sure i didnt make all dat crap up.....herez da site
