Hey guys,
I've just put a deposit on a VN SV89 and i'm going to call holden tomorrow for confirmation of the car but was just after the following VIN advice:
The car has all plates including HSV engine bay plate and dash build number and looks original but i was wondering if there should be any variation in the actual VIN compared to that of a standard V8 commodore of that era?
The vin is basically 6H8VNX19UKL.....
I have never owned a 'Special vehicle' before and although i now how to basically interpret a holden VIN i was wondering if any of you experts can help me at all? I thought the VIN may have been different thats all!
If my car isnt a SV89 could it be a SV LE? Did the SVLE have full skirting and spoilers etc?? What was the difference between the two?
I would also like to know if the 5LV8 badge should be at the rear of the car?
Any advice/comments would be appreciated
