Favourite V8 Supercar Team

What’s everyone’s favorite V8 Supercar Team and why?
And who do you think will win the 2004 championship?

I go first:
HRT (Holden Racing Team)
Why because I think this team really presents themself very well and I love the racecar graphics. I’ve been following Brocky for years so that’s why the favorite team is HRT.
Hate to say it but I think one of the Ford drivers will take the Champ this year, but of course I think once again Skaife or maybe even Jason Bright may have a chance?

i think Bright should be the man to beat this year new car, he's committed and driving very well, he has worked hard the last few years and deserves it, but i guess lady luck will play a hand again, just dont want any of those stuffin fords up there! :P

I don't have one fav team....I have about 3 :P. They are Holden Racing Team, Kmart Racing Team and Team Dynamik. HRT have been the dominating team for nearly the last 10 years and so much talent has come from that team, even though the drivers that began their v8 supercar career at HRT and have moved on, they are still kicking butt (Greg Murphy and Rick Kelly are 2 good examples). As much as i hate too say it i think a fffff...ord will take the championship once again :cry: But Stone Brothers Racing are like the HRT of ffff...ord so it makes sense that Marcos has been doing so well :? If Skaifey can get his act together in the next couple of rounds he has a chance, but Brighty is definately in contention for the championship, he has been driving so well lately.....not perfect, but consistent :wink:

When I started following the supercars, I started going for HRT because my dad went for Peter Brock, and thats what team he was in, and then because when Skaifey came into the team, he quickly became my fav driver.

I also like GRM, but that is mainly only because Cam McConville is my other fav driver, and I like to support whatever team he is with, like last year, I supoorted Lansvale, cause thats where he was, and now he is with grm, so, i support grm now!!

I own a new BA Ford XR6 Turbo Mk11, :shock: but a holden girl at heart. (we owned holden prior to this ). In 2 years we will upgrade to my fav car, a hot HSV GTO!!!

Considering i drive a ford and a fast ride at that, i do go for the HRT TEAM!!!!

Thats right, especially the Typhoon and Tornado. They actually produce higher Torque than there V8 variants, which is where you get your power from.

One of the HSV managers said a few years ago (was it Crennan?), "People only go into an HSV showroom to get a V8". Hence the reason they've quit production of the XU6.

As for my favourite team, SBR all the way...Nah, just joking!! It would have to be Tasman Motorsport and Paul Weel Racing (PWR). The new HSV DT is great, drivers GT and R Kelly should have a successful year!

Just loke to say we shouklf be supporting the TWR HSV Toll Racing this year so far doing extremely well go boys show the HRT,s watch ya got!!!

They are doing great! Garth Tander is leading the championship in car 16 and R Kelly 2nd in car 15. They are also (obviously) leading the teams championship. Very successful teams.

Hopefully Tander can win Holden the championship in 2006
