Car Decal

Hiya guys,

Just wondering if anyone here would be able to help me .. I can't think of anywhere else to try!

I've seen a sticker on a few commodores around the place and am dying to get one for my VN.

What it is, is the logo at the top of this page (the lion's head and the helmet) with a 'ribbon' type effect behind it.

Where people have put it is behind the front wheel continuing down the side of the car to about halfway of the front door.

Any info on where to get one or even just a picture of it would be greatly appreciated! :D

are you sure that it is a sticker? do you think that it is a paint job? because i have seeen here in the U.S. that some of the Ford mustangs have a paint job that has the horse's head starting it on both sides, the nose of the horse starts around where the front door starts, and the neck and mane of the horse turns into a ribbon-like flame theme and ends above the center of the rear fender of both sides.

either way, i'm sure you can have a sticker made like the one your describing. Or you can take your car to a body shop, and draw out what you want, and for a small amount, you can have it beautifully painted on.

They'll be vinyl stickers.

There's heaps of places around that deal with decals, you'll just have to find one close to you. Some will have the design you're talking about as its pretty common, but you might have to find an image of it and take it in.

First off, thank you everyone for your help .. I really appreciate it :D
SirHSV - that pic is very similar altho the one I'm after has the ribbony effect thing that goes a bit longer .. I like this design tho!
There's a decal place a few blocks away from my house so I might print that pic out and see what they can come up with.
I actually did see the decal I was after the other day on a new Monaro, but when I tried to get the guy's attention I think I might have scared him because he took off before I could ask him where he got it from :oops:
If by any chance I do find a pic of the design I was 'trying' to explain, I'll post it up for you all.

Here's a pic of my baby atm .. nothing too fancy but I love him :D

Just needs a little more work on the kit I have for him (it's a replica of the race one I think - it was a prezzie from my now ex bf) and then he's going black.

Should look very cute after I get the decals done.

MMMM, I hope i can help here, um, wolfiegirl, the pic of the ute belongs to a utez.com member, and as for the decals, i have airbrush work on my ute, and it is much better than decals( my opionion anyway) and i noticed u are in brisvegas, the people i deal with are at browns plains, and they can do excactly what u are looking for in any colour u want. If u r interestede send us a pm and i can give details if that helps. 8)
