Just drove my first HSV

hi all, great to see we have a forum now to honour these awesome cars.

I test drove my first HSV the other day..1999 model VT & I gotta say I was sold on it within the first 2 minutes..I hope to pick it up & post pics here shortly..

Any you guys know what to look out for with this model btw before I take the plunge?

The only thing I would be checking whether it were a genuine HSV model. Grab the VIN no, or HSV build no. And ring HSV or Holden Dealer and ask for someone to check on the computer with HSV whether or not it is the real deal.
Ask also for genuine service books, the guy or girl should have these. This info should tell you where it was bought, kilometres and service history, very important a must when buying a HSV vehicle. :wink:

But other wise have fun and enjoy the ride... 8)

Yea I sighted the original books (serviced by a local Holden dealer), certificates, original letter from Holden, etc..build no was on the dash..even had the original HSV pens in the console.. :D

Then it looks real but I would still ring HSV direct and make sure over the phone with an official HSV employee that the car does exist.
Im sure they could do this for you...
