Maybe a captain obvious question, but if the VE auto is a bit sluggish and a little clunky will there be any power loss from the car?

If the bands are slipping in the auto you will not get as much power to the ground. Please explain more about whats going on?

When driving in normal mode it seems to hang in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear before changing.....not a slip as such just seems to not want to change at a normal rpm.
When manually changing the shifts are really hard, almost feels like a shift kit has been installed and when manually put into 1st feels clunky.

This is during normal driving and not giving it a hard time.

Hope that explains it a bit better

Sounds like you need to go talk to these guys

I knew them when I lived in Geelong, they know their stuff!

Mine also does a strange thing when its cold. Under light acceleration it changes 1-2-4-5-6
It skips 3rd?

Normally hanging in gear can mean low oil pressure , but also banging in gears can mean too much pressure. Hopefully its something simple.

Sarge is your clubby tuned? If not it'll worth paying rep turner to tune the A6, as they will be able to get rid off most of the sluggishness.

The 6l80e can be problematic, particularly when you are putting a bit more through them. I'd give Mario / Greg a call and see what they have to say.
