View Full Version : E3 Tune worth it?

If an E3 Clubby is driven normally, never trashed, never "planted"...is a tune really worth it? I mean, if it's driven like any other normal car on the road, and not highly revved etc... Will any benefits be seen from a decent tune?

Even when driven normally & sedately you'll notice improved fuel economy aswell as throttle responce.

wow never thrashed or planted not sure how you can thrash a hsv maybe use full throttle within the first few minutes, i think you have brought the wrong car if you have a hsv and don't intent to hear the V8. as for the tune i doubt you would save enough money in fuel to cover a good tune, however if you want bag for buck and a great intake sound (okay thats an OTRCAI) then get a tune, I've heard a few good tune shops say that don't ususaly just do a tune on its own.
I had our new Grange done with an OTRCAI by autotech near Ringwood, very happy with the improved response, they also did a quick oil change for a good price. the most important oil change is the first one! and not at 15000kms.
My crystall ball says if you buy a HSV you will use all the power, it also says i dont know how to spell?
