Hi Guys,

Just wondering if there is a low boot lid spoiler that will fit the same ****s of the original 2008 GTS spoiler.

I do not want to drill any new ****s and I don't want the senator spoiler.

I am after something low, small and slim, could be matt black or Herron White color.

Would really appreciate any advice.

Cheers

You could look at the Walkinshaw rear spoiler or the Holden HBD spoiler.

+1 for the Walky spoiler. its the slimline like the senator, but carbonfibre. I'd love it for Kate (my Maloo) but the curvature is different.

Have a look at "senator supercar" for what the Walky spoiler looks like.

Don't know about the ****s but consider the Grange spoiler.

Thanks for all your advice,

apparently the calais or similar lip spoilers will not cover the original spoiler ****s so i have decided to purchase a VE Senator spoiler for $221 delivered plus painting costs.

Can any body recommend a paint shop close to Balwyn Hawthorn in Melbourne.

cheers

Thanks for all your help.

Have been flat out at work, so first chance to reply.

I have paid $340 for a painted aftermarket Senator style spoiler without the round circle for badge which I think looks cleaner from fibresports.com.au http://www.awcinfo.com//secureshop/category.php?cat_id=526
Expecting it next week. Will let you know what its like after I fit it ( bolts straight into existing ****s)

Cheers

Hay mate, check out carbon wrap.com.au in north melb..they do heaps of vinyl stuff using hexis French wrap that looks pretty cool in heaps of colours and styles as am looking at getting them to do my spoiler, roof and Walky scoop done by them in the new year.. Pretty good pricing too. Just an idea b4 u commit it to getting painted..!:)

I have a real carbon fibre lip spoiler on my SSV. It's slightly taller than a G8 spoiler but it looks mint. It doesn't cover two ****s so I used blanking grommets but on the black car you don't notice it

And I certainly didn't pay the ridiculous prices Walkinshaw want or the price a W427 would cost (if you could get one)

Yes looks good. Not too bad without the oem badge at the centre. Nice clean look

Looks great, can I ask why you didn't originally want the senator spoiler, I wish the VZ one had been as subtle as the VE one.

I guess I was looking for something a bit different and subtle but all the slimline ones did not cover the GTS spoiler ****s.

To me the car looks much better than I expected.

Had a look at your VZ photo and I must say I do like it on that car.
