Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my stereo system and was wondering if anyone knows the maximum depth allowable for replacing the rear subs? Do they require shallow mount or will a sub with the mounting depth of 120mm fit with addition of spacers?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

hey mate,

bit late I know but thought id say dont bother replacing the factory 8". I tried and it was a waste of time and money. Eventually I just went with a custon 12" enclosure behind the drivers seat. see attached image. It looks factory and punches out some real nice sound too.

different subs will require different box sizes...check out ASR-Audio.com.au for info

Best option is to dynamat the entire enclosure behind the subs , will halp alot.

Ideally put an aftermarket sub in behind the seat though.
