View Full Version : saving the original hsv carpet mats

i would really like to substitute (and store) the original carpet mats of my 02 hsv gto with some standard hsv or just holden mats, in order not to wear what will no doubt be an extremely 'hard to find' item in the future. an additional problem is that being a coupe, i have the feeling it will be hard finding a set of suitable rear carpet mats. would anyone be kind enough to throw in some pointers? cheers.

Mate, just go and buy a spare set - only $230 for the front and rear (VZ GTO).

Just take the old one into Autobarns or the like and match it up for size. I picked up some to sort of fit the old Caprice for winter for about $30.

I've just got some rubber "universal" mats in the front & rear of our GTO, which completely cover the factory mats.....60,000ks & the factory mats are still unmarked & as new. Cost me around $20/30!....I've had em for years....I've used them in all of my "toys"!
Cheers, Pickles.
