Hi all
thought id introduce myself. Mad Holden fan, my names Shaun, 19 years old, just bought my second ute, a brand new VE R8 Maloo LS3 in phantom colour, picking it up friday arvo :) cant wait, coming off a 2007 mdl SS Thunder.

Loving the forum already. Will post pics when i pick it up

firstly, welcome aboard young fella. yes this forum is very good with heaps of knowledge tuck away within it's members.

secondly, yes post pics asap.

third, where you living? what the bloody hell do you do for a crust? LS3 maloo at 19, i'm certainly missing the gravy train over here...

but that's the price of a mortgage and family i suppose...

Hey johno... i work on a farm, but last year after working on the mines for a few months, i bought my thunder, so yeah that set me up nicely to trade up =) i dont mind financing, living on a farm not going to need to buy a house.

Thanks Lowgto, i live in a small town called cadoux, 200km northeast of perth. In the central wheatbelt :)

Cheers mate... all my mates think im an idiot and are jealous for owning such a nice ute, but in reality, they are actually on a better wage, if they stopped wasting it one booze etc, they could afford something like this too. And nah, not too hard to keep clean, it gets parked in the shed, then taken out and washed and goes to perth again lol
