I note that FPV out sold HSV in April and March. 170 FPV Utes were sold against 95 HSV Utes for the year to date. I hope that the new VE comes up with the goodies otherwise Ford will not only win on the "Track" but also the "Road"

Hehe, I think the obvious reason for this is because the HSV VE range is just around the corner...

As a matter of interest, where abouts do you find these car sale numbers? I know Wheels has them, but only top 10 manufactures and models.

I agree everyone is waiting for the new VE,, example me Im waiting for the VE I was thinking of buying a Senator last month but didnít just because the new VE is coming.

Donít forget one the VE comes out the price of the current cars Holden and HSV have will drop. Dealers will have to sell them fast so good offers should be made then not now.

My figures come from AMC.

I have just purchased this week a Z series Maloo with all the R8 bits for a little over 50K, So there are some deals out there. Just seen the new VE, looks quite impressive, there real taste is seeing in the flesh.

Regarding HSV, my understanding is that the new VE Maloo Utes are about a year away can anyone confirm this.

All I know is that they will be released in 2007.

I would upload the new SS VE photo, but the forum doesn't allow reasonable sized pictures, 40kb is the max size!!!

I am picking up my new VZ Skaife Senator limited edition tomorrow, i was going to wait for the new VE range, but from what i have seen the new look doesn't do much for me.
I got a real good price off Motorama, and being one of 50 made, that will do me for now.
On Tuesday she goes into the Brock Shop for extractors, and ecu edit.

Can't wait
Cheers

Its a bit different because it is a collectors item car, it will be worth more than a VE HSV in years to come, you can be assured of that.

I've just heard about a possible 7.0ltr HSV GTS for the VE range released in 2007. 330-350kW. Not confirmed, just what I saw written.

If they bring out the 7.0 Litre which im guessing would be the same one in the corvette like the i think the LS2 is a corvette engine wouldnt they bring the 7.0 litre and keep it at the 375kw which i think corvette engine is running with 650nm of torque of there abouts but dont quote me??

Well I've heard that a 430hp motor will be in store for a HSV or HSVs. Maybe the normal line up will have the 400hp as there is now and the GTS will make it's return with the 430hp. I dont think the market is ready for a 7 litre LS7 V8. Holden and HSV know what we are like with fuel prices right now, they can tell from sales figures !
