For anyone interested Sub Regs & entries are now open for the Annual
Bathurst Light Car clubs "Speed Weekend"

You need to be a financial member of any Australian Cams affiliated car club.
Have a Cams Level 2 speed licence.
Long sleeve/leg clothing & leather shoes. (no nylon joggers) and approved Helmet.

Your car needs a fire extinguisher "BOLTED" within reach of the driver,
Battery location triangle, and front tow point.
Obviously in a roadworthy condition.

The cost is $310 for the weekend & believe me its the best fun you can have with your clothes on.

I'm not bragging, but I'm 2016 club speed champion so I will be there to defend my title &
would love some fellow HSV club members/owners to make the trip to Bathurst for the event...

Saturday is the Conrod Straight Supersprint, that see's the cars in pairs take off from standing
start about a 1/4 of the way down Conrod, & finish on the "start" line on Pit Straight.
Even with a standing start you will hit over 200 kph through the Chase..

The Sunday event is the Mountain Straight Hill Climb, which is single car at a time standing start
just before the crest on Mountain Straight, with the finish line just before the entrance to Mcphillamy Park
camping ground.
This is an awesome event with our cars easily capable of doing 180 kph plus heading to Skyline.

The event is open to all levels of experience - you go as fast or slow as you decide.

For anyone wanting to drive on this iconic road, this is your chance..
