good luck dude, 1st you need to locate a box, we came across one by accident a little while ago from a writeoff, and it ended up in my mates VH 5.0 rally car...... so just the usual change over stuff, flywheel, clutch, cross member (custom fabricated), hydaulics (keeping in mind the 6sp uses a hydraulic thrust race).

The heavy duty clutch kits we use come with lightened flywheels (about $1500),
clutch pedal, +master cyl, $150
cross member 100/200 ?
tail shaft length adjusted and balanced, 250
hole in your floor ?
expect to pay severly for a box

+ labour + GST + beer

Total = big bucks
leaving your car auto, PRICELESS
happy hunting

cheers GM

yeh, i sometimes think if you want an manual, buy a manual car, it may be cheaper. but you never know, one day you might trip over a gearbox, then start collecting other bit and pieces needed, then start a project. but the mention of heads, cam, add converter, diff gears, sounds like another project

iv got enough projects to last me a while... gotta find a new bottom end for my xr500, conrod snapped an went thru the crankcase :? and gotta do a rebuild on my cr250 coz it spat the crank seals.. plus the car.. :shock:
