VR & VS - don't know if this will work for any other models

to activate:

hold the up and down arrows and the set buttons at the same time, whilst turning on the ignition. it should go from being the speed alert to saying 0 km. it is very accurate.

when you turn the car off it will go back to normal, if not to

de-activate:

hold the up and down arrows and the mode buttons at the same time, whilst turning on the ignition. it should go from being the 0km to the speed alert mode

in the VT/VX its simply a matter of pressing and holding the UP and MODE buttons when starting. to scroll through the function (engine temp, digi speedo, volts etc) sue the mode button. press both up and down buttons at once to revert bac kto standard.

After posting I searched around and found that the VP does have a similar 'special' mode (it appears to be a factory debug more or something)..

This works for VN-VP's fitted with a trip computer. Hold MODE and RESET at ignition start.
