I got a series 1 VE clubsport.

Im doing a full stereo overhaul. But i want to keep the factory headunit. But ive seen somewhere that the series 1 had a option that can hook up to the factory headunit to be able to play DVDs ?

Is this true or am i thinking of the S2 or S3 ?

Cause i really dont want to replace the headunit with another one. Would like to keep everything stock..

Checkout this thread. There is useful info about the video and audio inputs should you wish to DIY.

Read the other thread and my unit has both of the looms (audio and video)already connected, any idea what this means I already have or what would be connected to them?

Mine did too. I suspect they are part of the standard wiring loom with nothing connected at the other end eg., rear DVD. I used these wires to hook up my media player by cutting into them and connecting RCA sockets to them. I made sure all is reversible in case I wanted to take it back to stock.
